October 19, 2019–Dandridge, TN- The Morristown Marine Team Trail wound up the regular season on Douglas Lake in beautiful Jefferson County, TN on Saturday October 19th with 169 boats competing for the $10,000.00 first place prize. With the late summer and unseasonably warm fall, the bite would prove to be tough with only 1327 lbs of fish weighed.
For one angler, the good fish couldn’t have come at a better time. What better birthday present than a $10,000.00 check?? For his 58th birthday, Mark Trent wished for a good day of fishing. He and partner Terry Crigger weren’t disappointed, as they boated 18.59 lbs of mixed Largemouth and Smallmouth.
2nd place went to Wayne Moyher & Craig Powers with 18.48 lbs, anchored by Big Smallmouth of 4.70 lbs. Their payday for 2nd place and Big Smallmouth totaled $4,355.00
Bill Jenkins and Benny Neal took 3rd place and Highest Finishing Skeeter money with a 5 fish total of 17.79 lbs. Total winnings on the day: $5,550.00
4th place was earned by a 17.40 lb sack caught by Sam Meade and Josh Osborne. They had a very nice 4.64 lb Largemouth in their limit. Their day’s earnings totaled $1,500.00
Rounding out the top 5 was Benny Roberts and Todd Nidiffer with 16.72 lbs. 5th place and 2nd Highest Finishing Skeeter money paid them $2,950.00 for their efforts.

The Citizen’s Bank Big Largemouth Award went to Jeff Russell and Jeff Lindsey with a 5.75 lb.
The Citizen’s Bank Big Smallmouth Award went to Wayne Moyher & Craig Powers on a 4.70 lb.
The 2 teams winning the Gray Insurance Group Bonus were Josh Roark/Allen Smith and Herschel Brady/Kevin Burns. These teams received an extra $250 each, just for choosing Gray Insurance Agency out of LaFollette, TN. Give Randy Heatherly a call and get in on the payout!

Highest finishing Preowned Boat from Morristown Marine went to Bobby Chambers and Tim Smiley ($500.00). 2nd Highest Finishing Preowned Boat from Morristown Marine was won by AJ Ison and Brandon Brock ($250.00).
